CAST Company
& Hip Hop Company.

Our competitive dance teams train at the highest level. CAST Company dancers are selected by audition and commit to ten to twelve hours of weekly training — learning from some of the best choreographers in the world, performing at local venues, on board Royal Caribbean cruise ships, and competing at local, regional, and national level.

Beyond competition, CAST dancers participate in community events, charity events, intensives, and master classes throughout the year. Our mission is to make well-rounded, strong dancers and great humans — leaving the programme with life skills that set them up for success, whether they continue into professional dance or into any other field that rewards responsibility, dedication, and discipline.

— Three Companies —

A pathway, from eight to eighteen.

I.

CASTmates

Ages 8–10

Our entry tier — building the foundation. Young dancers begin their company experience with a structured weekly schedule, technique focus, and their first taste of community performance.

II.

2nd CAST

Ages 10–13

The middle tier — momentum and confidence. Dancers refine technique across multiple styles, take on longer choreography, and step into regional competition.

III.

1st CAST

Ages 14–17

Our flagship tier — full commitment. Senior company dancers train 10–12 hours per week, perform at the highest competitive level, and tour with the studio at local, regional, and national events.

— The Commitment —

Eight to twelve
hours per week.

CAST dancers commit to eight hours of weekly classes minimum — typically two ballet, plus acro, jazz, contemporary, tap, technique, and two hours of choreography. Hip Hop Company dancers commit to one hip hop technique and one choreography class per week. Optional classes are welcomed.

Any planned absences for performances or competitions must be communicated with the studio director before the season begins. Auditions are held yearly in the spring.

— Quick Answers —

Frequently asked.

01 How are dancers selected?
CAST Company dancers are selected by audition. Auditions are held annually — most often in the spring. Placement is decided by a panel of judges and the studio director, based on technical readiness, performance quality, and commitment level.
02 What is the weekly time commitment?
Eight hours per week minimum for CAST Company — typically two ballet classes, plus acro, jazz, contemporary, tap, technique, and two hours of choreography. Hip Hop Company is one hip hop technique class plus one choreography class per week. Optional additional classes are welcomed.
03 Where do dancers perform?
Local, regional, and national competitions throughout the season — plus onboard Royal Caribbean cruise ship performances, community events, charity events, conventions, master classes, and local performance showcases.
04 What does CAST teach beyond dance?
Perseverance, discipline, teamwork, dedication, and confidence. Our mission is well-rounded, strong dancers and great humans — many of our alumni continue into professional dance, and many take these lessons into entirely different fields.
05 Can I miss a competition or performance?
Any absences for performances or competitions must be communicated with the studio director before the season begins. Last-minute conflicts are difficult — companies are choreographed as a unit.
06 Is there scholarship support?
Yes — scholarship discussions can be initiated during the audition process. Reach out directly to the studio director for current opportunities and qualifying criteria.

Dancer's Gallery is a place I consider my childhood and where I grew up. Christie Stark is the most dedicated and welcoming Dance teacher and studio owner I could ever imagine. I looked up to her each and every day and considered her my role model as well as the rest of the dance teachers there. Along the way I made some lifetime friends and memories I will never forget. Dancer's Gallery will forever be in my heart and is the best place for anyone to find their passion in dance. It goes way beyond just a dance studio. It becomes a second home. XOXO

I want to give a HUUUUUGE shoutout to Dancers Gallery on Flamingo near Sterling!! I'm going crazy with just two kids while school is closed, but they opened their doors to all kids today in our community for a free Irma Relief Day Camp and discounted prices the rest of the week until school resumes. It was our first time there, and I can't say enough good things about how well organized it was as well as how kind all the staff were. It's a HUGE studio run by people with even HUGER hearts.

Dancer's Gallery was heaven on earth for my daughter. She danced there from the age of 3 until she was 14 years old. The teachers are wonderful. The atmosphere makes you feel comfortable to drop your child off at class and run an errand. My daughter would live there if she could! Ms. Christie was not only one of her instructors she became family. I feel privileged that my daughter had the chance to attend! Dancer's Gallery helped make my daughter the confident young lady she is today.

I have been a part of Dancer's Gallery for 18 years and it's been the most amazing experience. Miss Christie is one of the most amazing people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Miss Christie and her entire staff go above and beyond for their students. This new studio in Cooper City is amazing. You feel like home when you walk in there. I wish Miss Christie and the entire staff of Dancer's Gallery all the best in their new home.

My daughter has been growing up with Dancer's Gallery since she was 3. She now teaches the next generation of artists. Her career in the arts flourished into: Dancing, Acting, Singing, Modeling, a Marlins Mermaid, Choreography, and has featured as a dancer in the movie "Rock of Ages". I attribute her talented skills to the training, discipline and opportunities offered in this wonderful environment.

Dancer's Gallery is the best dance studio around. Their facility is like no other and they offer a huge variety of performing arts for children and adults. Each instructor brings their own style and offer a lot of freedom of expression while focusing on technique. I love it there and love the fact that my two boys and daughter can share the experience of dancing at Dancer's Gallery. BRAVO!
